An exceptional and exacting Operations and Finance Manager, Nicole Nicholson is a mainstay of LEI managing the financial and administrative aspects of a broad range of projects from numerous countries.
Nicole has over 25 years of accounting and finance experience, and her extensive knowledge of project setup and operational requirements enables her to provide invaluable support to LEI’s project teams whilst ensuring timely and comprehensive reporting and invoicing to clients. An effective multi-tasker, Nicole has overseen the development of LEI’s superior financial and project management systems, including strict approval processes and regular and independent auditing to ensure complete transparency and accountability of all project funds. Nicole routinely prepares and implements budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting of variances.
Most recently, Nicole has overseen project office setups in Vientiane (Lao PDR) for our Mekong Region Land Governance project and in Jakarta (Indonesia) for the UKCCU Papua Spatial Planning project. Her responsibilities include staff and service negotiations and contracting, development and implementation of project-level financial and quality management systems and establishing partner and client communications.
