Preparation of a Concept Design Document to enable the Government of PNG to advance its National Land Development Program.
The activity outcomes were an initial report following a short term visit, an aide memoire following the completion of the activity and a comprehensive Concept Design Document. The Concept Design Document was prepared to enable the Government of PNG to advance its National Land Development Program. It detailed a component framework, which recognises the key areas that evolved from the National Land Development Taskforce Report, namely land administration, customary land development and disputes settlement.
Assisted the Government of Papua New Guinea, through the National Research Institute, to develop and progress the National Land Development Program which evolved from a key National Land Summit. The objective was, in consultation with the Government of Papua New Guinea and stakeholders, to develop a Concept Design Document (CDD) which will provide a strategic framework for the implementation of the PNG National Land Development Program (NLDP). Land Equity International provided the project management for the activity and the Team Leader is a Director of the company.
