New consultancy opportunities and options for employment for a Social Safeguard and Community Engagement specialist. Services that engage in land governance and stakeholder engagement issues in infrastructure design and development are urgently required, and LEI is excited to be getting involved.
We are looking for an experienced social safeguards expert who can use their stakeholder and community engagement experience to improve land governance scenarios during infrastructure investment. This opportunity will see you build solutions with LEI staff for improved land tenure results in the infrastructure sector, expand your networks and work across Africa, Asia and the Pacific with a range of clients. We are initially seeking a consultant role, with potential for more permanent employment arrangements.
This is a technical consulting role in which you will work alongside our experienced team of land professionals in new projects on infrastructure investment design. You will assist in identifying, managing and resolving the social safeguard impacts and risks related to infrastructure projects in collaboration with nationally based project teams. There will also be tasks requiring stakeholder mapping and community engagement strategy development. You will work with institutions and people with different types and levels of expertise to complete comprehensive assessments that will inform the development of solutions that include flexible working arrangements, a mentoring approach and strong documentation and training skills. safeguards practice standards will be applied in all circumstances.
Your role will include:
