The Mekong Region Land Governance Project (MRLG) is a project of the Government of Switzerland, through the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), with co-financing from the Government of Germany and the Government of Luxembourg. MRLG is jointly implemented by Land Equity International (LEI) and GRET - Professionals for Fair Development. MRLG aims to improve the land tenure security of smallholder farmers in the Mekong Region. Since April 2014, MRLG has been engaging with reform actors in government, private sector and civil society in the countries of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam.
MRLG seeks a Communication Consultant to support communication at the end of phase two of the project. The position may be home-based or located in Vientiane, Lao PDR. The anticipated start date is October 2022 with a contract duration of three months. While the position is short-term, the project anticipates a third phase from 2023 to 2025. Subject to mutual agreement, the contract may be converted to a long-term contract for the duration of phase three, with competitive remuneration and benefits.
